What’s a Careerealist? I’m sure many of you reading this blog are wondering...what’s a careerealist? Well, as I was thinking of a name for my brand I first had to consider what my goals were. I wanted a name that was catchy and captured the essence of the content I offer. From there came, the careerealist. My goal is to share real-life career experiences in hopes that something from my journey would help you on yours.

In simple terms, a careerealist gives real career advice. Things like the do’s and don’ts of corporate life, keys to adulting in the workplace, job transition tips and the list goes on. The on-the-job lessons I learned were invaluable and I wish I had a career website to reference before I stepped into full time career life.

Having said that, I take this work seriously. Not too long ago, I was the recent graduate headed into the real world....and it can be scary. But once you get past that stage you’ll soon get promoted, then you may move into management, and a few years later you may switch jobs. The career cycle never ends and our professional lives are ever changing.
